• Performance:
  • 1.5 liters filter unit: Initially filters approximately 1-2 glasses per hour, gradually increasing to 0,5 liter per hour as the pores of the filter unit open up.
  • 5 liters filter unit: Initially filters approximately 1 liter per hour, gradually increasing to 2 liters per hour as the pores of the filter unit open up.
• Configuration:
  • 1.5 liters filter unit features a filter unit combined with a 3.5-liter filtered water storage unit, providing a total capacity of 5 liters.

Maintenance Tips:

• Regular Cleaning: Wash the Ecofiltro every 6 months.
• Cleaning Procedure: Use only filtered water and a new sponge on a clean cloth. Start cleaning from the outside and then move to the inside. Remember to handle the water filter only from the edges with clean hands.
• Avoid Harsh Cleaners: Never wash the water filter with soap or bleach.
• Sunlight Protection: Avoid exposing the Ecofiltro to direct sunlight.
• Replacement Reminder: Renew the water filter every 2 years.

*On Ecofiltro units, we use 0.22 liters of colloidal silver at 530 ppm for our 5L product and 0.42 liters for our 20L product, both applied internally and externally. Studies show that initially, there is a higher release of silver, around 40 ppb (0.04 ppm), which is well below the recommended daily intake limit of approximately 30 ppm. According to the USEPA(U.S. Environmental Protection Agency), the maximum intake of silver should not exceed 5 μg per kilogram of body weight per day (1996), translating to a daily intake of 350 μg for an average 70-kilogram adult.
